Before joining Grey London as Chief Creative Officer, Laura was the CCO of Mr President, the agency she co-founded in 2014. A relentlessly modern creative thinker and leader, Laura was honoured as one of the Fifty Most Inspiring Women in Tech by Inspiring Fifty and was voted the UK's most influential digital creative by The Drum. Laura is a former president of D&AD, twice named one of Britain’s most significant people within Debrett’s 500and recognised as Individual of the Year at the Dadi Awards. This year she was honoured in Campaigns UK Female Frontier Awards for Championing Change.
Liam Murray joined Grey in 2008, previously working in Banking at UBS and at Interpublic Group at Octagon Sports Marketing. Liam has a deep understanding of the business, Grey’s clients and the industry making him influential Chief Finance Officer. His knowledge of the network and experience of working across the region will benefit as we continue to enable a more borderless way of working between London and Europe.
Grey London kicked off the new decade by hiring Raquel as Chief Strategy Officer. Raquel has a truly diverse background, starting her advertising career in sunny Rio at JWT, before moving to London where she worked for leading agencies including BBH, AMV BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and M&C Saatchi. Over her career she’s created long enduring platforms and made cultural dents for a range of power brands including Coca-Cola, Tourism Australia, Jonnie Walker, Haagen-Dazs, Mars and Persil Dirt is Good. She’s hugely decorated too, winning major effectiveness awards along the way. She’s a mum to three girls, loves long distance running and board games. Some of her favourite things include movies and box sets like Stranger things, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones. More recently, re-watching all seasons of Gavin & Stacey has helped her cope with the void left by the end of Game of Thrones.
Javier Campopiano, one of the world's most accomplished creative leaders, has joined Grey as Chief Creative Officer, Grey Europe, and Creative Chairman, Grey London. In this position, he will oversee creative development on key global accounts, help them seize new growth opportunities and enhance Grey Europe's creative product and talent.
Javier joins Grey from FCB Mexico where he has served most recently as Partner and Chief Creative Officer after more than four years at Saatchi & Saatchi. During his tenure as Chief Creative Officer, he transformed the creative reputation of that agency's flagship New York office.
He received global notoriety for the "It's a Tide Ad" campaign, the gaggle of faux ads that hijacked the 2018 Super Bowl and swept the award shows, winning a Titanium Lion and the 2019 Grand Effie, among others. Critics hailed its humor, flawless craft and clever, classic problem-solving marketing.
During his career, Campopiano has brought his unique talents to build giant global brands for giant global networks. He began his career as an intern at Ogilvy Argentina and went on to become Regional Creative Director in Latin America for Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and FCB before becoming a Partner and Chief Creative Officer of FCB New York. The proud recipient of 49 Cannes Lions and a Black Pencil, he has won every top international creative honor.
