Grey London kicked off the new decade by hiring Raquel as Chief Strategy Officer. Raquel has a truly diverse background, starting her advertising career in sunny Rio at JWT, before moving to London where she worked for leading agencies including BBH, AMV BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and M&C Saatchi. Over her career she’s created long enduring platforms and made cultural dents for a range of power brands including Coca-Cola, Tourism Australia, Jonnie Walker, Haagen-Dazs, Mars and Persil Dirt is Good. She’s hugely decorated too, winning major effectiveness awards along the way. She’s a mum to three girls, loves long distance running and board games. Some of her favourite things include movies and box sets like Stranger things, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones. More recently, re-watching all seasons of Gavin & Stacey has helped her cope with the void left by the end of Game of Thrones.
