Fausto was part of the creative process that the agency started in 2011.
In 2012, Ecuador won it´s first Cannes Lion a streak that has maintained for the past 7 years, accumulating a total of 40 awards. Maruri GREY is without a doubt the most creative agency in the country and is among the most creative agencies in Latin America.
Fausto is part of the very select Global Creative Council at GREY. He was also the Chief Strategy Officer at Maruri GREY. The first year into the role, the agency was for the first time ranked number 1 at the Effie Awards, a rank that has not changed to the date.
Before he became CEO, he was in charged of the Quito office for 5 years, during which the revernue grew 4 times, winning new business’ and creative awards. In 2018, the first Grand Prix for Ecuador on The Ojo de Iberoamerica festival became a reality. In the same year the agency won 3 Pencils at D&AD. In his career Fausto has won 10 Cannes Lions.
His journey in the business has had a great deal of creative and strategic work, all while balancing his personal life between family, golf and skydiving. Fausto also holds a skydiving big formation world record.
Carlos Haz, Chief Financial Officer, joined Maruri Grey in 2013 to help Eduardo Maruri in the transformation of a successful family business into the globally recognized creative powerhouse it became. Working on the internal and operational changes for information systems, processes, policies, reporting framework, and legal issues, and interacting with the different WPP teams, Carlos played a crucial role in the Maruri Grey acquisition deal by WPP in July 2016.
Since then, he’s been leading the integration of the Ecuador business to the Grey network, working alongside both the LATAM and Global Finance teams and working on his vision of a fit and dynamic structure that allows the business to run in the best conditions while providing Management with a sound financial view of business’ performance and the decision-making process.
Prior to his involvement with Grey, Carlos had a successful seven-year career with Unilever as a financial business partner for food brands like Hellmann’s, Knorr, Magnum, Cornetto, and Fruco across Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, where he provided extensive and highly valued collaboration to brand marketing, sales, and supply management teams.
Carlos has a degree in economics and built his financial accounting background with PwC.
Andrés Maruri, VP Strategy and Planning at Maruri Grey, joined Maruri in 2004 within the accounts department. In 2011, he cofounded Maruri Digital, the digital partner agency for Maruri. Within two years, the revenues of Maruri from the Digital area had gone from 0% to 20% under his leadership. By winning pitches for customers like 3M, LAN Airlines, Umbro, and SABMiller, Maruri Digital became a leading digital agency in the industry.
With a BA in marketing and finance from Purdue University, Andrés also holds an MBA from IDE Business School, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is currently in the middle of his second MBA at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
Pipo Morano, National Executive Creative Director at Maruri Grey, is a creative with more than 25 years of experience in advertising. He’s been elected multiple times to the jury for Lápiz de Platino, Círculo de Creativos, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, New York Festivals, and the Gramado Film Festival, among others. Pipo has worked at important agencies such as FCB, Bates, and Ogilvy & Mather, for clients like Honda, Assist Card, Citibank, Fox, Warner Bros., General Electric, Sherwin-Williams, Converse, Adidas, Sony, Johnnie Walker, 3M, DIRECTV, and Panasonic. He has won more than 350 awards from Cannes Lions, DA&D, Clio Awards, and New York Festivals, to FIAP, Effie Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Sol, and London Festival.
Pipo has been at Maruri Grey for 14 years, Ecuador’s leading agency, which has been named the most creative and effective agency in the country three years in a row. With Maruri Grey Pipo has won 41 Cannes Lions, occupying the No. 6 position in the Iberoamerican agency ranking for Cannes: No. 1 in Data and No. 8 in Radio. Maruri Grey has boosted Grey LATAM to become Regional Network of the Year at Cannes, in 2017 and 2018. These awards and recognitions have placed Ecuador on the map of the advertising world and have established Maruri Grey as a reference in the region for being one of the most creative and effective members of the WPP Group.
Andrea has been working in advertising for over 10 years with experience in strategic planning, account management and production. She has worked in Ecuador and Argentina with local and international clients such as Pepsico Foods, Bayer, Volkswagen, LG, Personal, Pronaca, Danec among others, as well as leading brands Doritos, Lay’s, Ruffles, Cheetos, Aspirine, AlkaSeltzer, Apronax.
Before Grey, she lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she worked for Live, an agency from Clienting Group; and The Bridge, working with brands such as LG, all while developing personal skills within the digital & CRM fields.
Andrea came to Maruri Grey in 2013 to be a part of the Relationship Manager’s team. Today, she is responsible for the leadership of the Creative Planning and Project Manager’s teams in Quito, focusing on integral campaigns for local and international clients such as Renault, Continental Tire, Unicef, Payless Shoesource, Sanofi, P&G, among others. Andrea and her amazing team have been able to achieve incredible work within the past few years and are proud to be the most creative and effective agency in the country.
Santiago Maruri, Production Manager, has been part of Maruri Grey since 2002. He started as an Account Executive, handling brands such as Visa, Mastercard, and Texaco, among others. In 2006, he took over the position of Account Director, working with Toni, La Fabril, Tampico, etc.
In September 2010, Santiago began to manage the agency's television production. The results at the end of 2011 were terrific: revenue increased by 95% vs. the previous year.
During 2012 and 2013, he was in charge of managing not only the production company, but also the call center and BTL areas of Maruri Grey Guayaquil. Together with a first-class team, Santiago has been part of the growth of these business areas, which are currently some of the largest in the country.
As Production Manager, Santiago oversees the works of producers, BTL, research, and digital in Guayaquil.
In 2011, Arturo created and co-founded Maruri Digital, he managed to win important accounts and generate digital advertising business that in just two years represented 20% of Maruri's total business. With more than 18 years of experience building brands through the use of the internet and digital media, Arturo leads from Maruri Grey's Digital Vice Presidency to a team of more than 30 professionals involved in each of the areas related to advertising and digital communication.

Started my professional life at the age of 18, full of ambition and good friendships, after 6 years of career, I became ECD in 360 communications where I work 4 years, leading successful digital and direct campaigns for local and multinational clients like GSK, Coca Cola, Diageo, Mercedes Benz, AB InBev.
In 2011, attracted by the creative culture I join Maruri Grey as director of BTL. In 2013 I lead a transformation process and became the Relationship Management Director, heading back to the roots of strategic planning. In 2015, on a successful effort to cohesion creativity with planning and customer service, I became VP of Creative Planning, leading the creative and strategic teams from the agency, and supervising the digital production, PR, BTL, production deparments. In 2017 I add to my responsibility the direction of the Quito office.

I Join Maruri Grey in 1998 to work in Media. By 2013 I became the Quito´s office Manager, and after two great years I became the National Media Director. On the last 14 years, I have been nominated and named the best employee.
Over my career, I have worked successful media strategies for almost every category on the market.
One of my strongest capabilities, is closing new business for the Digital, ATL, Production and media departments. I consider myself, a creative strategist that use innovation to deliver the right solutions to my clients on every field.
I have more than 6,000 days doing exactly the same, “building and positioning brands through the use of digital media”, and I love it.
Rodrigo is a social communicator with a Master`s degree in Project Communications from the University of Navarra - Spain. He Joined Maruri Grey in 2018.
With over 15 years of experience, Rodrigo´s specialties as a strategic advisor focused on political, corporate, marketing and commercial communication issues.
His innovation and creativity made of him an expert in content strategy topics for traditional and digital communications, based on neurocommunication, neurolinguistic programming and emotional connections.
He has advised more than 50% of the most important and relevant organizations. Including public, federal and private organizations from Ecuador, Chile, Peru and Spain, alongside the United Nations development agencies in these countries.
As a qualified communications professional, his consultancies include companies, such as: Telefónica – Movistar, Nestlé, La Fabril, Pepsico Ecuador - Perú, Pronaca, Confiteca, Codelco (Chile), Novartis, Panasonic, Aon Ecuador, Sanofi, Merck Sharp and Dohme, Owen Illinois, ANCUPA (National Association of Oil Palm Cultivators), Pintulac, Chova, Level 3, Huawei, Kia.
