Marcia Esteves graduated in Communications (FAAP, SP, Brazil) in 2003 and Specialist Marketing (IED, Milan, Italy), in 2004, with an MBA in Project Management (FGV, SP, Brazil) in 2007. Marcia studied at the Babson Executive Business Center (Omnicom University, Boston, USA) in 2009, where she attended the Advanced Management Program (AMP). In 2014, she attended the Hyper Island Master Class of Digital Acceleration (Brazil).
She started her professional career at Fischer America Comunicação Total in 2001, where she developed projects for Telesp Celular. In 2002, Marcia started at RAPP, working for several clients in Brazil and Latin America, such as Itaú, Philips, FedEx, Telefonica, Nokia, Natura, HP, Pepsi, and others. Also while at RAPP, she worked for a year in Barcelona, exchanging expertise between agencies in different countries. Back in Brazil she implemented a digital operation for Pepsico across the Latam region. In 2011, she moved to Wunderman Brazil to structure and lead the Consumer Goods Group (P&G, Danone, and others). In 2013, she started at Leo Burnett Tailor Made with the challenge of integrating the digital discipline across all areas of the agency, winning more than 8 digital pitches: Disney, Samsung, Brasil Kirin, among others.
Marcia Esteves joined Grey Brazil in March 2014. Before becoming CEO & President, she served as CDO, COO, and co-president of the agency. She was named "Professional of the Year" by AdNews in 2018, as well as one of the "Women to Watch," a title that every year honors women who have been successful in their careers and hold potential for a bright future.
Under her leadership Grey won its first Grand Prix award at Cannes, along with 14 Lions and 5 Effies, making it the second most awarded Brazilian agency at the Cannes and Effie festivals in 2018, also receiving its first nomination for "Communication Agency of the Year" at Caboré Award.
Creative writer from Rio, Adriano Matos joined Grey Brazil in March 2015. Since then Adriano has helped to restructure the creative team of the agency, and today he leads more than 30 talents. Adriano works for great brands like Gillette, P&G Master Brand, GSK, Volvo, XP Investimentos and Itambé. He has actively participated on conquering several new clients for Grey, including XP Investimentos and Devessa. Among his main prizes are Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio Awards, LIA, NY Festivals, Wave, Abril and CCSP. In 2017, in recognition for ascending talents within the Grey Group, Adriano was named a Rising Star of Latin America, a nomination given by the main global leaders of the group. This recognition gave Adriano the opportunity to participate in the Centennial celebrations of the group in NYC.
During the 20 years of his career he has accumulated/assembled/gathered passages through different agencies like Moma, Publicis Brazil, Leo Burnett Tailor Made, Wieden+Kennedy and DM9DDB, where he was part of a team that conquered the Agency of the Year 2009 title at the Cannes Festival. In 2001, Adriano was assigned to be a delegate at the Young Lions Brazil, a title he is still proud to have received.
Elise Passamani is Greys’ Operations VP. Working for Newcomm Group since 2005, she occupied the position of Human Resources and Administrative Director, in 2009, where she was responsible for developing and implementing all of the strategies and systems related with Human Resources of the agencies Y&R, Grey Brazil, Wunderman, VML, Red Fuse e Ação, which adds up to approximately 1,000 collaborators, adding to running the administration department of 6 offices of the group. In addition, she has been leading the work related to organizing the agency’s culture and the transformation process at Grey Brazil, with a clear purpose and mission: making the world a better place alongside people who chose communication as a profession.
Her passion for Grey and wish of migrating to the Front Office, along with the necessity shown by the agency, for a professional with a focus on people management of the operation, culminated the invitation for Elise to take this role in April 2007. Elisa holds a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Goiás, with an extension of a diploma from Karlsruhe University, Germany, in Business Engineering. She also has an MBA in Human Resources from the São Paulo Business School – BSP.
In accordance with a 17-year career, Tachibana is also a professor at Groupo de Mídia São Paulo – Digital Media syllabus, specializing in e-commerce. He was elected as the best Online Media professional by the Digitalks award. Tachibana took on roles for FCB, Y&R, Grupo TV1, RAPP, Gradiente e Isobar, and worked with clients such as Johnson & Johnson, O Boticário, CNA, Grupo Pão de Açúcar, Guaraná Antarctica, Casas Bahia, Vivo, Cielo among many others. In addition, he actively participated in the “Speaking Exchange” case for CNA, winner of the Media Grand Prix of the MaxiMídia in 2014.
Born in Santiago, Chile, Marcela Borges came to Brazil at a young age, leading her to graduate with a degree in Business Administration at PUC-SP. With over 20 years of experience within the financial area, 10 of them being in big agencies such as Ogilvy and Leo Burnett. Currently, she is studying Marketing at FGV to develop her knowledge even more. Marcela enjoys spending time with her family and is a mother of two boys. She is a fanatic of the São Paulo team and the Green Bay Packers. With her passion for movies, she can be found during the weekends at the best cinemas in São Paulo.
Maria Pirajá joined Grey Brazil in 2015 as the Business Director. Her mission was to leverage and expand Pantene’s brand presence in Latin America. In the following years Maria led other important local and global brands besides Pantene, such as Gillette, Volvo, Reclame Aqui and Devassa.
In 2019, she became the Business VP and started leading a very diverse team of strategic thinkers, who were committed to searching/finding new growth opportunities for all clients in an interconnected world.
With over 10 years of experience, Maria graduated in both Communications and Publicity at PUC-RJ and Tourism and Hospitality Management in Scotland. She has also worked in other big agencies like Ogilvy, NBS and Santa, where she helped leverage top brands such as Coca-Cola, GSK, British American Tobacco, O Boticário Group and Oi
Raquel arrived at the WPP Group 12 years ago, as a member of the Planning team of Y&R agency. After a passage at BBH, she rejoined the group in 2011 to be part of the initial team at New Energy. Among the awards she has won there are 3 golden Effies and 6 silver ones, which she has achieved for many brands, such as Pantene, P&G Master Brand, Old Spice, Downy and Reclame Aqui.
In 2015, she was recognized as a Rising Star, a title offered by the WPP Group to the professional that has shone bright in account managing P&G. Raquel is a Law graduate, and she studied Communication at the Miami Ad School. She also holds an MBA in Social Psychology from the Sociology and Political School of São Paulo. Currently, she is also working as a professor for the Planning Bootcamp at the Miami Ad School.
