With over 18 years of industry experience spanning leadership positions on the strategic and managerial fronts, Kamil recently assumed the role of Grey Group CEO MENA responsible for its various communication entities.
Prior to joining Grey Group, Kamil was the Strategic Planning Director for Leo Burnett MENA, leading on several multinational and regional brands such as Kraft, GM, P&G, Mastercard, Showtime and Saudi Telecom.
He then assumed the role of Managing Director, Levant for Leo Burnett, followed by Regional Managing Director of the Publicis Group of Companies in the Levant. Under his leadership, Leo Burnett Lebanon was transformed into a regional hub for creative excellence (globally ranked in the top 20 Most Creative Agencies in the World for 4 years with the latest global rank of 4th Most Creative Agency in the World in 2015, according to the Big Won Report). Before advertising, Kamil worked in Auditing at KPMG, Lebanon and Management Consultancy (IT) at Price Waterhouse, USA.
He holds a BBA from the American University of Beirut, an MBA (Finance and Marketing) from the University of Florida and an MA in Economics from the University of Georgia.
An industry thought leader, consummate professional and a passionate believer in the power of communication, Nadim is Chief Executive Officer at Grey MENA.
Responsible for the Agency’s operations and Clients across the Middle East and North Africa, he has helped in growing the Agency's revenue base and visibly impacted the transformation of its services in line with Client needs. Over the last few years, he has successfully led new business pitches whilst managing forecasts and budgets. He was also involved in overseeing and guiding the optimization of structures and processes. In addition to his current responsibilities, he is the regional lead for P&G, overlooking and supporting the team across the Arabian Peninsula, Near East and North Africa.
Nadim has been with Grey since 1999, when he joined the network as an Account Director from Saatchi & Saatchi. He has then held several senior positions within the Agency - promoted to Managing Director in 2008, Group Managing Director in 2013 and Chief Operating Officer in 2014.
His articles have appeared in top industry publications and, as well as being a proponent of industry collaboration, he champions transparency and ethics in marketing and communication. He is also an active member of the International Advertising Association’s UAE chapter and a former member of their executive board.
He attended the French Lycée in Beirut, Lebanon, and graduated from Shiller International University in Paris, France. He is married and has two daughters
Himanshu graduated from Delhi University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He started his career in 1999 with Ernst & Young, in their Assurance and Audit division, leading Audit and Consulting assignments for local groups and various multinationals.
In 2005, he joined Grey Dubai as Finance Manager. By 2012 he was promoted Regional Finance Director GCC before taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer for the region. During his tenure at Grey, Himanshu was instrumental in improving agency efficiencies and effectiveness across all areas of operations, including SOX reporting.
Karim graduated from LAU with a Masters in Business Administration. His career begain in 1999 with Y&R Jeddah and he quickly grew through the ranks to lead a portfolio of clients including LG Electronics, DHL, ACDelco (General Motors), Bank Aljazira, Porsche, Halwani Bros., EMAAR, and Philip Morris to name a few.
In 2007, he joined INTERONE (a BBDO Worldwide agency) as Deputy Managing Director in charge of setting up the operation in Jeddah before moving to Beirut in 2009 with FP7/McCann in charge of the agency’s portfolio of clients including MTN, McDonald’s, L’Oreal, Cadbury Adams, Ford, Nescafe, Danone and MasterCard.
Karim was appointed Managing Director of Grey Beirut in 2012.
Cynthia joined Grey Beirut in 2013 as a writer for local and international clients; two years later she was promoted to Associate Creative Director. She is passionate about storytelling, creating emotional bonds between consumers and the brand, believing that every person is a leader when it comes to making ideas happen.
She has also helped make many brands famous locally in several categories from consumer goods to healthcare and retail. Cynthia joined Grey from Publicis Beirut, where she was a bilingual copywriter for local brands as well as P&G Oral Care. She has an M.S. in living languages and speaks in English, French and Arabic fluently.
Johnny graduated in 2010 from NDU with a BA in Advertising & Marketing, and won the Ogilvy Post-Graduate Program award which landed him his first job as an account executive in Ogilvy & Mather KSA. He worked there on telecom and FMCG brands (STC & Al Marai), and got promoted to Senior Account Executive 1 year after joining. In 2012, Johnny moved back to Lebanon and spent 2 years working as a Marketing Manager in a radio station growing the client portfolio and the radio’s marketing activities. In 2014, Johnny joined Grey as an Account Manager working on P&G Hair Care portfolio (Pantene, Wella, Koleston) covering the Middle East and Africa including sub-Saharan Africa. In 2016, he was promoted and is currently the Account Director handling P&G Pantene MEA.
