Using UV laser technology, Corona marked limes with a simple guide showing exactly where to cut, helping people cut the perfect slice for their bottle or can.

Lime Guides upgraded Corona’s iconic lime ritual like never before.

The idea used technology in a simple, playful way to solve a small, but real consumer frustration and improve the overall experience. Lime Guides made Corona show up in the fruit aisle for the first time, and flipped the logic of purchase. Now people buy a Corona after seeing a lime, not only the other way around.

The brand bought the laser machines and installed them across China, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa. Each market has an operation capable of creating up to 1,500 Lime Guides a day.
