After spending most of her life abroad, Tam returned to Vietnam 12 years ago and is part of the founding team of Grey Vietnam.
With over 22 years’ experience in advertising in Vietnam, Australia and America, Tam has worked in some of the biggest advertising agencies in the world on some of the world’s most recognized brand names including Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Qantas Airlines, General Motors and Sanofi among many others.
Tam’s passion for Vietnam drives her commitment towards developing and nurturing the future advertising talents of her country.
Popularly known as DJ, started his career in advertising in 1992 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Religion in the USA. He has 27 years’ experience in consumer marketing across India, Middle East, Vietnam, Cambodia and Mongolia working on varied product categories from spirits (Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Southern Comfort) to banking (ANZ, HSBC, VP Bank); from tobacco (British American Tobacco, JTI) to infant formula (Mead Johnson) to beer (Heineken Group) to Real Estate, Retail & Hospitality (Vingroup, Vinpearl Golf, Vinpearl Luxury, Intercontinental Danang, Sungroup, Keppeland, Capitaland, Vivocity etc). Last 17 years based in Vietnam.
He has worked with Multinational agencies like Bates Worldwide, JWT, EURO RSCG, G2 and Geometry as well as was instrumental in setting up an Asian start-up agency called Edge Marketing. In the past 10 years DJ has been General Manager of Edge Marketing Vietnam, G2 Vietnam and Geometry Vietnam.
In 2014, he left Geometry to join Grey Vietnam as Strategy Planning Director. In the past 5 years, he was instrumental in pitching for and securing multiple new businesses for Grey Vietnam i.e. Heineken Group (Tiger, Larue, Amstel); JTI (Camel, Winston, Mevius); Sanofi (Enterogermina, Phosphulogel, Pharmaton, Ducolux); Vingroup, Vinpearl, VP Bank, Generali, Keppeland, Capitaland etc. While DJ is strategically focused and have deep understanding of various categories and consumers, he is also operationally attentive towards implementation on the ground to drive results.
