As a new member within Grey Group, Samuel entrusted with the responsibility as Country Head of Finance of Grey Indonesia. With his more than 12 years of experience working with the big 4 Advertising Agencies globally, such as Leo Burnett (Publicis One), DDB Indonesia (Omnicom Group), and last at iProspect Valuklik (Dentsu Aegis Network Indonesia Group), Samuel possessed the knowledge also the capability around Client negotiation, Statutory Audit, analysis on Financial Statements, and last but not least is on Merger & Acquisition (M&A), where he considered as one of the valuable team member under Grey Management team with hope can carry his current Finance team to a higher level. His ways of working always based on logic and always thinking “out of the box”, where he usually can be innovative in sense of finding a new way to simplify Finance process or reporting which will make his life and others’ easier but still within and following the compliance guidelines of the Company. And, even though he tends to be “workaholic”, Samuel not forget to always be humble, to laugh, and to love his life where currently his life is revolves around his two puppies or what he called his “four legged kids”
Throughout my career, I have been working on marketing aspects, both at agency side and corporate. My passion for marketing stems from my work in a variety of industries that has enabled me to not only my analytical and strategic abilities, but also to identify my deep-seated interest in understanding the minds of consumers. Experienced working for local jewel brands, like few of Unilever brands has broaden my experience in working with regional clients and team. Aside from ATL area I also find my self enjoy doing Brand activation for a leading consumer electronics brand. My other interest aside from marketing and branding is roaming deep ocean as diver and week-end athlete doing triathlon. Because simply, if you can do three sports, why only do one?
Having acquired a breadth of experience across categories – retail, telecommunication, tech start-ups and many more within a short amount of time, as one of the youngest leadership talent in GREY, Axell aims to be a rising star in the advertising industry. He is responsible in leading the strategic planning team to create Famously Effective strategies for our brand partners. The strategic planning team in GREY adopts multiple disciplines to be relevant with today’s everchanging brand and business landscape. Outside the office, you can also find him exploring back-breaking calisthenics moves at your nearby gym.
Joza Bayu is an advertising creative with educational background in Communication Studies and Cinematography.
Before joining a multinational advertising agency in 2010, Joza developed ideas and copy for creative work at WhatNot Studio, a Jakarta-based design house focusing in youth market and lifestyle. He also led an online lifestyle magazine as Editor-in-Chief in DailyWhatnot and developed content for brands and publications.
During his career in the creative industry, Joza has created work for brands ranging from Milkuat, Vit, Toyota, Yamaha, Panasonic, Chevron, Activia, Aqua, MINI, Sony, Nike, LG Electronics, Lippo Group and Sampoerna.
Pritika Gupta, has joined us as Regional Account Director at Grey Indonesia for P&G business. In her last role, she was working with DDB Mudra Group as Group Business Director on Puma India, Captain Morgan, Narang Group and Diageo. She has also worked at Mullen Lowe Lintas, Wizcraft Entertainment and Wunderman Thompson across categories - retail, automobile, e-commerce and fashion and has handled brands like – Fastrack, Arvind fashion brands, Madura garments, Myntra, Flipkart, PaperBoat and many more.
She was selected as Impact Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30 Future Leaders of Advertising 2016. Her work has been rewarded with Effie’s Grand and Gold for PaperBoat and was instrumental in creating the iconic Suede Gully campaign for Puma - recognized at Cannes 2018 with 3 shortlists, won bronze at Spike Asia 2018 and bronze at Effie’s 2019.
A traveler and adventure junkie at heart, she would live out of a suitcase if given an opportunity. She Believes in exploration as a form of education. A way of living life where experience is the greatest teacher. Off late, deep-sea diving is her newfound interest.
Before advertising, I-van was creative director for runway shows and a fashion magazine. His knack for lifestyle-oriented communications earned him the lead spot for McCann Manila’s Beauty Group early in his advertising career. Since then, he has led successful integrated and digital campaigns for numerous hair, skin, and personal care brands in the region. A true-blue ASEAN citizen, I-van has called Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Manila his home these past years. Today, you’ll find him in the Instagrammable coffee shops of Jakarta, brainstorming with his team on the next Pantene big idea, clad in his favorite Comme des Garcons pieces.
