Autodidact, whom after several frustrated attempts at formal education found advertising at Maruri Grey Ecuador. Daniel has worked in several countries for top world brands, winning over three hundred awards. His drive for knowledge and learning led him to Grey Brazil, where he was one of the few foreign ECDs in Brazil. He became a member of their global creative council, and turned Grey Brazil into one of the most renowned agencies in the region; something he had also accomplished in Maruri Grey Ecuador a few years before.
His desire to explore other markets took him to Leo Burnett Mexico as their CCO where he was named as one of the ten most featured professionals of Mexican advertising by Scopes Agency. He is the creator of the campaign “Desfronterizate” for Corona beer. He worked as an ECD at The Community, one of the leading creative agencies in the United States and in his first year, was named Adweek's Creative 100: Multitalent Masters.
Over the past 20 years, Javier Herrera Rossi has worked for agencies such as McCann-Erickson—Chile and Argentina, MRM Chile, and Grey Group, in categories such as Mass Consumption, Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, BTL Activations, and Endo-marketing.
His experience has seen him take on brands like Coca-Cola, Ripley, Sky Airlines, P&G, ESSO—Exxon, Pizza Hut, Teva Laboratories, Miller Beer, Mazda, VTR Liberty Global, Chevrolet GM, Audi, PISA, L'Oréal, Viña Concha y Toro, HDI Seguros , Pfizer, Audi, and the Government of Chile, among many more.
Along the way he’s won awards from The Effies, AMAUTA, Cannes, NY Festival, Achap, and London Festival.
Paola Bontempi is the CFO of Grey Chile since February 2019. Also, she is responsible for the financial management of BCW Chile and Argentina. Paola joined Burson Cohn & Wolfe in May 2012.
She works with the local finance team to ensure sustainable profitable growth, control of financial areas, annual budget, Sox, negotiations, management and support to partner practice leaders.
Paola brings extensive experience in senior financial roles in different industries in Chile. Management reporting, strategic planning, project and investment management, balance scorecards and management of internal and external audit processes. She enjoys partnering with revenue producing teams by providing strategic direction and business solutions to ensure profitability.
Prior to joining BCW in May 2012 she worked 12 years for BCI – important Bank in Chile and held several leadership positions such as Office Manager and Business Manager.
After that she worked 9 years in different organizations as Finance Manager, supervising, reporting and controlling financial results.
Paola studied Business Administration, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the “Universidad del Desarrollo” of Chile.
